OUR MISSION
The Conklin Davis Center for the Visually Impaired’s long term commitment to our mission has been in place since 1988. Our mission is to provide a lifetime of comprehensive services that create unlimited hope, opportunity, and independence for blind and visually impaired people.

Conklin Davis Center for the visually impaired is a regional and national leader in transforming communities and lives so that blind and visually impaired individuals achieve personal success.
HISTORY
The Conklin Davis Center for the Visually Impaired is a hidden jewel in the heart of Daytona Beach. It is the only comprehensive Blind Services complex in the United States. The 42-acre campus is home to the Florida Division of Blind Services District Office, the State Rehabilitation Center for the Blind, the largest Braille & Talking Book Library in the world, and the Conklin Davis Center for the Visually Impaired. Our, 27,000 square-foot facility on an 8-acre campus includes 16 dorm rooms, 3 apartments, a commercial kitchen, workshops, classrooms, offices, a nature trail, greenhouses, gardens and much more.

The Conklin Davis Center for the Visually Impaired is a non-profit agency dedicated to serving blind and visually impaired individuals. Our goal is to enhance the lives and opportunities of our clients through job training, and employment, Independent Living, Technology training and children’s services as well as a multitude of community services. To ensure that blind and visually impaired individuals lead successful lives in their workplace, at home, and in their community, the Conklin Davis Center’s for the Visually Impaired’s long term commitment to our mission has been in place since 1979.
Each year the Conklin Davis Center serves over 500 individuals giving them the self-confidence to overcome the obstacles vision loss presents.
