Introducing "THE OFFERING" - A Masterpiece Supporting a Worthy Cause!

(Two photos of the sculpture are captured. Text reading, “Own a masterpiece, make a difference. 50% of proceeds support visionary change!”. The conkdavis.org website is on the lefthand side. The CDCVI logo is in the top right corner).

At the Conklin Davis Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired, we are thrilled to unveil our latest addition – a breathtaking sculpture by the immensely talented architect, Bill Chapin. This stunning creation, titled "THE OFFERING," stands as a beacon of hope and support for our cause.

Bill Chapin's journey with our Center began three years ago when he was introduced by our esteemed Board Member, Nancy Epps, and our dedicated Executive Director, Ronee David. As an architect, Bill was initially approached to help solve a building problem, but what he discovered was the profound impact and vital service that our Center provides for the visually impaired community.

Moved by our mission and recognizing the financial challenges we face due to insufficient state funding, Bill embarked on a mission of his own. While working on several monumental sculptures, one piece in particular sparked an idea – an idea that would become "THE OFFERING."

This magnificent sculpture, standing tall at 10 feet, is not just a work of art; it's a symbol of generosity and support. After captivating audiences at the Orlando Museum of Art, Bill made the heartfelt decision to donate "THE OFFERING" to our Center, with the belief that it could make a difference in our ongoing efforts.

But Bill's generosity doesn't stop there. In a remarkable gesture, he has pledged to donate half of the proceeds from the sale of "THE OFFERING" to the Conklin Davis Center. It's a rare opportunity to own a piece of art that not only enriches your space but also enriches the lives of those in need.

We invite you to be a part of this extraordinary opportunity. By purchasing "THE OFFERING," you're not only acquiring a magnificent sculpture but also contributing to a cause that's close to our hearts. Your support will enable us to continue providing essential services and support to the visually impaired community.
